A.S.K. (Ask, Seek, Knock)

The word and the acronym for ASK couldn’t be any clearer. It’s like confirmation or a second opinion all into one. A gentle reminder of three different ways to get whatever it is that you want or need.

Ask! There are 3 responses you can get from this option. God or whomever you may be asking can respond with Yes, No or Not Right Now. And You will have to be okay with either answer. Trusting that yes, no or not right now is what that answer should be for that point in time.

Seek! The old saying is that if you go looking for something, you’ll find it. That doesn’t only apply to finding evidence on your partner to see if they are cheating. Seeking is the easy part. All you have to do is do it. If you lost your glasses, you would go on a journey to find them and most times, you find them. Replace glasses with keys, phone, toy, etc. My favorite is when you seek GOD. You will find Him! He is literally right there! ALWAYS!!!

Knock! The Bible says “…Knock and IT shall be opened.”-Matthew 7:7. Knocking could be on a door, window, partition, gate, fence, etc. You will get a response. Even if not at the moment, keep knocking. Someone will answer.

All of these examples should have shown you that although there are 3 ways to ask, those ways can also be limitless. The only limit would be what you place on them. If there was a need and all you had to do was ask your friend, neighbor, boss, parent, spouse and Father in order to receive it, you would do it in a heartbeat. Same for seeking. If all you had to do was go on a scavenger hunt or play a game of hide and seek, you would go seeking. Lastly, if all you had to do was pick a door or window to knock on to get what you desire, you would do it.

It’s really that simple. Don’t make it harder by thinking to deeply into it. It’s literally one step in the right direction. Try it out. Don’t just think about it. Ask, seek and get to knocking!

Sincerely,

Angie

Very well said. These are some true words! Living in a moment of ASK will catapult you into a new position in life, as long as you believe. Great article!
